The spell has been cast!
I was walking on the sidewalk at MG Road on 21st July’s Saturday morning. The sunshine was bright and comfortably warm. The traffic was minimal, after all what would you expect at 9 am on the weekend. The newspaper vendors were setting up their stalls, and I am relating all these details so that one can really gauge that it was early by market standards to be out on the streets. The business in the shops was yet to begin.
What I saw on the sidewalk that morning will go down in my life as one of my most cherished memories. All around me were people, young and old, boys and girls each with a brand new edition of the final book of Harry Potter series. It was heart warming to see that Harry enjoys such a huge fan following that transcends all boundaries of gender, nationalities and economic status. It was a testimony to the fact that I was not alone in my fascination of, probably the most loved fictitious character in recent times.
